Salutations!!!

Hello, if you're reading this then that means you are a part of ENGL 3750 or you somehow got ahold to my not-so secret blog. Either way, it's great to meet you all and I hope that we have a fantastic semester together!

My name is Isis Watts and I'm currently a junior at Clayton State with an English degree. My hometown is Atlanta but I’m thinking of moving to Clayton County so I can be closer to my school. My hobbies are writing, dancing, playing soccer, watching tv, and going on walks.

When it comes to writing, reading, and watching television, I usually like action and comedic-based things. Currently I'm watching the new season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (binge watched the series during the summer). So far, majority of the episodes were great, but there are a few that are sorta lacking imo. I also like mysteries that either shown in the culprit's perspective or if it's two people trying to solve mysteries

Anime is also a big inspiration for my writing, mostly for the fight scenes and dialouge (which I'm trying to work on). Some of my favorites include Hellsing, Berserk, Fate/Stay Night, Panty & Stocking (strange name but is good, especially in English dub), Soul Eater, Undead Unluck, Ghost in the Shell SAC and many more.

Fun facts about me: I was born during a snowstorm, and I published a story in the school paper (Cygnet), but it didn't make it in the book. My goal for ENGL 3750 is to refine my storytelling skills through different methods and pick up new techniques for all of you. If you have any recommendations for clever comedies, twisty mysteries, or action-packed anime, I'm all ears!

Here's some music for you 😁
